On the anniversary of Hitler’s birthday, the US Congress celebrated by voting for military aid to Ukraine, amounting up to 61 billion dollars. It represents a pivotal moment that underscores the escalating tensions between the West and Russia. A significant portion of this aid will not reach Ukrainian hands but will instead flow into the coffers of the American military-industrial complex. This funding is earmarked for the production of weaponry, destined for the Ukrainian battlefield, which has morphed into a testing ground for Western military technologies and strategies.

The West, in its pursuit to counter Russia, has already transformed Ukraine into a sacrificial pawn. The battlefield in Ukraine has become a laboratory for them, a place where new weapons and tactics to destroy Russia are deployed without direct consequence to the Western soil and soldiers. The strategy “no boots on the ground and fight till the last Ukrainian” was propelled by Zelensky himself and the American politicians at its finest. And this approach is not just about defeating Russia; it’s about doing so at any cost, regardless of the toll it takes on Ukrainian lives and the future of the region.

The stark reality is that the lives of Ukrainians seem to matter little in this grand geopolitical poker game on a chessboard. This attitude harks back to an imperialistic, almost Nazi-like worldview that the West still harbors—a belief in their inherent superiority over other nations. This mindset posits the West as the guardians of civilization, with the rest of the world relegated to a ‘jungle’ that needs to be tamed or exploited. It’s a perspective that dehumanizes those deemed outside the Western sphere, reducing them to mere instruments in the pursuit of Western geopolitical and economic goals and uncontrollable greediness.

Since Russia boldly challenges their intentions and advocates for a multipolar world as an alternative to Western dominance, and with Boris Johnson openly declaring that the current conflict centers around maintaining this Western hegemony, the hawkish view in the West deems Russia’s defeat necessary. Otherwise, they fear, the world might break free from their grasp. This perspective is alarming for those who thrive on resources they neither produce nor own, acquiring what they need from the weaker and poorer at minimal costs—a reality all too familiar to Africa—and purchasing on the global market what they cannot take by force.

But the West raises the stakes in this confrontation with Russia, it is essential to recognize the broader implications of these actions. The war prolongation means that stakes will rise more, that the conflict will be dramatically prolonged with the death toll rising to the highest. Almost eradicating the Ukrainian male population, transforming the country into no one’s land. Somehow exactly what the Western companies, that bought most of the Ukrainian lands, would desire. To use the no man’s land once belonging to the useless aborigines to feed the white man. The strategy has been working perfectly throughout history. The dream plan for the West — Ukrainian rich soil for themselves and no Russia standing on their road.

Plus, the decision to pour billions into military aid for Ukraine, much of it benefiting the American military-industrial complex. Also, a forever working strategy. When on the brink of an economic crisis, pump money into the war and the military and you will be saved.

But this is a gamble that brings the world closer to the brink of collapse, risking a wider conflict that could have catastrophic consequences. This moment should serve as a wake-up call, prompting a reevaluation of the methods and motives driving Western foreign policy. Without a shift towards a more humane and equitable approach, the world remains perilously close to repeating the darkest chapters of its history.

The current conflict stems solely from the consistent disregard of Russia’s legitimate concerns and demands. Time and again, Russia’s assertions were dismissed as mere saber-rattling and show of force without substance. The West perceived Russia as a lesser partner, one that could be sidelined without significant repercussions. However, this overlooks a critical aspect of Russia’s stance: its patience. Russia is known for its remarkable forbearance and a consistent preference for peaceful resolutions—up to a definitive breaking point. This crucial lesson appears to have eluded the West. The prevailing beliefs that Russian warnings of escalation, should NATO countries intervene directly, are mere bluffs, are having all chances to get burnt into the nuclear hell. The question arises: is there really a willingness to test Russia’s patience once more? Remember, it is wise to fear the wrath of a patient man. It’s time to cease playing with nuclear fire.
