Intelligencer is a news platform and because of the content is not recommended for people under 13 years of age.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Intelligencer, a new global news site dedicated to fearless, evidence-based reporting and investigations, launched today.  Led by award-winning journalist and Donbas-based war correspondent George Eliason, the publication promises to provide the story behind the story and interviews with the key players shaping the events of our time.

The editorial board is comprised of a diverse group of experts in their respective fields, from award-winning independent journalist Vanessa Beeley, who is based in Damascus, Syria, to feature filmmaker Igor Lopatonik, a frequent collaborator with Oliver Stone for films such as Ukraine on Fire.

The editorial guideline sets Intelligencer apart: Every claim must be provided with transparent, credible sourcing so the reader knows each article relies on factual evidence, not propaganda.

Eliason is the editor at Intelligencer and a seasoned investigative journalist. He’s worked in the Donbas war zone since the beginning of the conflict in January 2014. Eliason is a Serena Shim laureate for uncompromising journalism and a 2017-2018 Project Censor laureate whose stories inspired the cover art for that year.

He has written for Modern Diplomacy, Washington’s Blog, Mint Press News, the Security Assistance Monitor, and many other publications. His citations include over 1000 academic papers and more than 30 books on information war, information operations, history, Ukrainian history, political science, and sociology.

Eliason’s articles have been used to determine US and EU foreign policy, especially regarding the Ukrainian situation.

He broke the Russian influence story one year before anyone heard about it and most of the stories about information operations in media years ahead of anyone else. First and foremost, George Eliason is an investigative journalist who believes the facts and evidence matter.
