    The President is making a big show of announcing the nomination of five individuals to federal district courts and one individual to the Court of Federal Claims. According to him, these nominees are supposedly “extraordinarily qualified, experienced, and devoted to the rule of law and our Constitution.” We’ll see if their actions actually reflect these lofty promises.

    Furthermore, these choices serve as yet another reminder of the President’s commitment to diversity in the nation’s courts. By appointing individuals with diverse personal and professional backgrounds, it is believed that this will enhance the strength of our country.

    Once again, President Biden presents us with yet another round of nominees for federal judicial positions. This brings the grand total of announced federal judicial nominees to a staggering 209. It seems like the nominations just keep piling up, leaving one to wonder if quality is being compromised for quantity.

These officials are being praised for their alleged devotion, professionalism, experience, credentials, and dedication to pursuing equal justice for all. We’ll see if these nominations actually result in any meaningful change or if they are just empty gestures designed to appease the public’s desire for justice.
